The World Wide Web

Hello everyone! Today, after a two-hour ordeal with the cable guy, we are finally online! This is more of a big deal than I would ever have imagined. If you would have asked me a couple of weeks ago how I would deal with a week without the Internet or cable I would have replied with a sound, "Piece of cake." We've done it before. I have felt so incredibly disconnected with the world this past week. Not only did I not have the conveniences of communication, etc., but I couldn't access any sort of news without the Internet or cable. I guess what it comes down to is that I realize just how dependent on technology I am. That's it.

I'll try and update you guys on what's been going on this past week and a half as soon as I find some time.
